0 Maintaining Digital Perm

Well I got tired of my long straight hair I really got myself into reading so much about digital perm down from the procedureS, the aftercare as well as styling it everyday. There or quite numbers of good reviews on digi perm and each of them delivered them differently. So, each individual has different hair,I supposed.

l got my hair digital permed for about a month now. You probably think why late with this entry, it is because l am adjusting to it since Caring and maintaining  digital permed hair definitely different from other types of curls. This is not my first time getting my hair permed, been straightened and permed again and again but never had hair shorter above my shoulder. And l had digital permed hair once when I was in college back when I stayed in Labuan but, l really did not have any idea how to maintain and style them nice. Instead I only have it for like a month and for the rest of months ahead I remembered I had bad hair days everyday and people might had thought that I was so broke I cannot even afford a hair comb. But seriously I don't know. That was until I got my hair back to silky straight . Since then, my hair had been straight like for ages until I graduated. Huh, that explains monetary situations though. It seemed like straightened hair saves the pocket more.

~~~~~~Back to the digital perm story~~~~~
The procedures took about 3 hours including preparing the hair like washing and conditioning,before chemicals were added then the hair rolled with medium sized roller and plugged with A machine that is especially invented for digital perm. I think. The hair would be washed again before Styling them with mousse and bIow dried with diffuser. Tadaa! You are out from the Saloon before you know it. Hah!
Despite what all the reviews say,that one should not wash the hair for 24-48 hours,the hairstylist told me that it's okay to wash it,but she said,"why wanna wash it right away? Your hair has been washed twice today probably thrice." That made sense to me.
 As for styling , I have to say that it is not as easy as managing the silky straight hair. You do not have to comb permed hair but, you have to style it. Make the curls bouncy and defined with products. I like to spray hair lotion from Lucido, which is formulated to make curly hair soft and bouncy, after washing my hair. But during humid day, the hair tends to become frizzy so, sometimes before I go out I would damp my hair before combing the hair with my fingers closed to each other running through the hair strand with mousse from Wella Proffesionnel that I bought from the saloon which did my perm, Patrick's Saloon in Centrepoint Kota Kinbalu.
After conditioning the hair in the shower, while the hair felt slippery I would comb it either with wide tooth comb or with my fingers. Then after the hair half dried with towel, I will partitioned the hair into sections and roll them with fingers before spraying it with the hair lotion. Next morning , the hair will have defined curls and all I need to do is the spray the lotion just to damp it, scrunch them and I am good to go out with the hair. These just take up 5-8 minutes on my morning routines so it is not that complicated to style permed hair.
Permed hair could lasted 3 months or more. The great thing about this kind of curl that it looks better by time, so when considering getting digital perms I think it is better to ask for medium size roller as the curls would loosen up by time.
That's my reviews and my shares on maintaining digital perm hair. Thinking about getting short hair but, I am still in great doubts scared if I would regret it. There is ways to get longer hair quickly now but, I am still thinking about it. How about you? Do you have certain hairstyles that you long for but, still haven't done it?
1 Good Alternative Primer, M.A.C Paint Pots
Oily eyelids ? That could only mean that you would have a line of clumping eyeshadows on your crease at the end of the day. This is what happened to me as well and  can be embarrassing too.But, I always make myself feel better by telling myself that the creasing just happened when I was on the way home, driving. Hahaha...
Eventually , I came to my senses that there are good eyeshadows to prevent such incident in the end of the day or if I was out under the sun or sweating too much. They won't even last til afternoon. I blame on the excessive sebum. Did countless searching online before I gave it for MAC's. MAC I think has the most reputation of long lasting cosmetics and of good quality. It was quite pricey compared to drugstore's cosmetics but, all I need is a good primer to hold my eyeshadows from creasing. It is not like we can put face powder onto the lids to keep it from nine to five. I was not a MAC at heart girl but, I decided to give it a go. I got myself the MAC Paint Pots in Groundwork and Painterly.
 I think these two can make  soft smokey brown that I typically wear on daily basis to work and even chilling on weekend. Painterly can also be worn for other particular looks that one wants to achieve since it is quite nude on the eyelids. It lightens up the darker eyelids while functions as a primer.
MAC Paint Pots in Groundwork is between the soft brown and taupe which is very nice as a base eyeshadow to create smokey eyes for the night. For daytime, I like  using the Painterly as the base eyeshadow to put on the whole eyelids, while the Groundwork is only for the crease alone and even to nose shading before   a darker shades of powder eyeshadow applied to the corner end of the eyelids to create a deeper eyes effect.
They are cream eyeshadows and I like using brush to apply them. It dries and lock quickly on the lids and after the cream, I use any brown powder eyeshadow for the crease and the corner of the eyes. I tried it for two types of eyeshadows which are from Za  and Elite on top of the cream eyeshadow , both are drugstore's brand and they lasted a day ! Boy, I am happy I found this cream eyeshadow from MAC. I do not have to apply primer anymore instead now I only used these cream eyeshadows as the base.
The pros:
It lasted from nine to five.
Creamy yet dries up fast on the skin.
Smudged proof.
Packed in a sturdy glass and a classic matte MAC plastic cap.
The cons:
Groundwork can looked a bit chalky if over used.
Painterly still could crease in the end of the day especially on a sweaty day . Maybe due to my oily skin. It creases on itself however, the other eyeshadow does not affected at all.
I know that these pots could last a very long time. I heard from most MAC lovers that they last long but, I certainly will re-purchase them. I just fell head over toe for these products!
Do you have any suggestions on which Paint Pots that also makes good alternative primer or other brands and, and which eyeshadow do you pair it with? If you have any suggestions, share it on the comment box.
Have a nice day, dolls!
2 Tutorial: Fixing Uneven Eyebrow
Uneven eyebrow can hardly be noticed most of the times. You have to look closely at ones pictures then you may noticed it. Usually we simply ignored it simply because it is way too common especially in Asians. This may  rarely affect on Westerners. However, the good thing is uneven eyebrow never make anyone less beautiful.
Uneven eyebrow can be caused by asymetrical face structure,  uneven bone on the eyesocket or maybe simply caused by faulty during shaving or picking your eyebrow hairs.
One can fix uneven eyebrow by drawing beyond the natural eyebrow hairs or removing the extra hairs or performing them both. But, asymmetrical face structure can only be done by surgery under doctor's advise.
I have all of the above. You name it. But, I learnt to embrace my flaws and make the best out of me to still look at least decently okay and fresh. (Not looking crazy with obvious uneven eyebrows)
I have the asymmetrical face structure in which my right side face eye socket is slightly bulged to the front  and my right cheek looked like it was flattened quite flattened compared to the left, the cheek bone shows and a slimmer jawline. I think that my best angle would be from the left side of my face which I often refer as my ideal face. So, I tried to make my right eyebrow to looked as symmetrical as possible to the left one.
First up, by using eyebrow pencil, I mark on my right eyebrow where it would be on even height with the left eyebrow. Then, I draw the outline of the eyebrows upward UNDER the natural eyebrow hairs right until one third of the eyebrow then back on the natural eyebrow hair after that right until the tail.
On the left eyebrow , I draw the eyeliner ON the natural eyebrow hair all the way up to the arch and down to the tail. Since the left one is the ideal shape for me , then I do the same for the upper side of the eyebrow.
For the right eyebrow, I need to mark again the height of the arch and the distance between the end of the eyebrow to the arch. Then, draw it accordingly, even I had to draw it beyond the natural eyebrow hairs.
Fill them with my favorite eyebrow powder for a more natural look.
Finish up with eyebrow gel to set the  eyebrow hair.
I think the eyebrow gels make the eyebrows looks more soft.
Product I used:
KATE eyebrow pencil in BR-1 , natural brown
In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Colour
KATE eyebrow gel in natural brown
Though I knew this trick , still there were days where I just could not make it right. There are days where my eyebrows makes me looked like I had a symmetrical face because the eyebrows frame the face , sometimes they came out looking too bushy and thick and even too dark. There were days where they looked simply uneven. I thought about getting embroidery eyebrows but, I haven't done any yet. I do believe that practice makes perfect too. Eventually, I might get to draw the perfect eyebrow for myself. Whatever it is for now, I am enjoying grooming my eyebrows and it actually takes up  more time after shower than doing anything else when I am getting ready in the morning to work.
Okay, beauties. That's all from me today. Until my next entry. Chaww!
0 A Review: THEFACESHOP Clean Face Oil Free Control Essence
The regime we do after cleansing our face is moisturising. I have been using a Za emulsion for the longest time and not that it is not good but , it is just so good enough for my oily skin.
I give myself a try for THEFACESHOP line, Clean Face where this line specialised in treating oily and troubled skin. I noticed that in Korean products they never used the term "acne prone" skin instead they use, "troubled" skin. Their main ingredients to fight acne and pimples is the tea tree essence. Therefore, this essence scented like one. Personally, i love the scent very much.
The cream comes in a small square bottle colored dark beige. What i really like about the bottle is that it comes with a pump which is hygienic when withdrawing the cream for use. I can't say much about the exact ingredients because it's Korean's language all over the back of the bottle.
The cream is very light and it felt cool when i first applied it on my skin. It is  absorbed quickly to the skin too and leave the skin matte compared to other moisturiser. It has good oil control and my skin does not turn oily at all when i woke up in the morning. Since it  has good oil control, i also used it before i apply BB cream in the morning. My skin steered from shining for longer than applying the BB cream on a bare skin.It also dry up my pimples without causing my skin to peeled. That's what i really like about this product. Therefore, i strongly recommended this to those who has oily and pimples prone skin. However though, the results may vary in different individuals.
When to use an essence? From the reviews by other beauty bloggers, i noticed that most of them used it after applying moisturisers. But for me, i just use it right after i cleanse my face. It works just as wonderful. I only need one full pump to cover my entire face and pat it on the skin instead of rubbing it all over.
It comes in a small bottle , 40 ml or 1.35 oz. It is quite expensive compared  to other drugstore's since it comes in a small quantity but, i think it really is value for money. The cost is MYR 39.90. Quite okay , right?I think there is a big chance that i will buy it again when i finished up this first bottle.
1 A review: Etude House Precious Mineral BB cream Bright Fit
Fan of BB cream?
I am. Once the BB cream phenomenon broke, i went crazy and looking on the net and read on few local  magazines the difference of BB cream and foundation. Oh, then i went crazy for the search of perfect BB cream.
Right until now,  i have already tried three brands of  BB creams. He.. he.. it is not overwhelming though because i had just already give myself a run for each at least a month. I fear that if i change products too quick, my face is too vulnerable for breakouts.
However, though for the two brands that i have been using before this review, it always started as a dewy skin when in fact i like it more matte on my skin because i have an oily skin and very prone to pimples. Then , in the end of the day  especially when i had a well occupied day, i will at least found one breakouts after washing my face in the evening. I know, not cool.
So, i found this Etude House's BB cream in 1Borneo Hypermall. Actually i have been eyeing on this BB cream on the net and found mixed good and moderate reviews on it while rarely bad one. So, i bought one in Natural Beige. I was kind of skeptical actually if i should try the Light Beige but, I was afraid if it would make me look greyish.
Beautiful packaging!
Etude House Precious Mineral  Bright Fit BB cream has more options of shades available compared to other brands of BB cream which can only offer two to three options. And the color also really blend with the skin color rather than masking the face with the cream itself.
I choose Natural Beige and it suits my skin color best!
Before
Naah, dull skin before application of BB cream. Large pores are everywhere. Sorry if you disgusted by this photo.
and
after.
Skins looked brighter and skin tone becomes more even. Redness on the nose is covered too. Pores are slightly reduced. There is no editting involved in this photos. Except resizing it. Most acne scars are moderately covered though there are some still visible.
It feels the lightest BB cream i had ever tried and very easy to blend on the skin with fingers.  Skin feels very smooth after application. What i like more is that my pores size looked reduced thus it really makes my skin looked smooth. Other BB cream only makes my pores more visible and deeper. Yuckss.
My skin falls into the oily category, which it will get oily 45 minutes after washing my face and it gets faster like 20-30 minutes with any cream put on my face. But, this BB cream from Etude House takes me at least 45 minutes to get my skin oily all over. Therefore, for me, it has better oil control though it gives slightly dewy look once applied on the skin too. This what makes people with good skin condition a radiant look , i think. And  oily to people like me.
Super convenient pump.
Packaging is luxurious and neat. It comes with the famous pump which makes the application easier and un-messy. It also comes in quite large quantity with 60 g nett. Other drugstore's brand BB cream only provides 15-25g of cream which I can finish that in less than two months.
Comes with SPF 30 and PA++, also whitening, anti-wrinkle and anti-darkening benefits. Yes, BB cream is combinations of all beauty benefit.
The price is RM 89.90 which quite affordable consider it comes in quite big and sophisticated packaging.  I will definitely buy it again.
0 Face Contouring
If people were to ask me what's my biggest insecurity about my free, it's got to be my nose. l know that Asian commonly has flat nose but, l think mine has gone overboard. It is way rrrareee.....Til it somehow becomes my trademark.Like l were to wear a masque, people is still going to recognize that it's me just by looking at my nose.
l am now aged 27 but,l admit that l still struggle with this insecurity especially when I had to pay a MUA they would either makes me looked like a transvestite or me looking as if I just smear dirts on my face.l am not saying that these MUA does not know how to do their job but it maybe just that they do not know how to handle this kind of nose. Ha ha ha!
l wish that l can steal off my husband's nose when he is aslept!
Since l was aware of the existence of make up, l have been practicing and try to master the art of nose contouring and sculpting for years .Yet l know they never seemed enough, but l think, it would have to be me to accept this God-given unique nose first despite what make ups can do.
Okay, enough about ramblings on my inseurity,and you might not interested at all about it and you must thought why on earth you're still reading this. BUT, do stay tune because i am going to tell how to get the look of higher nose , slimmer face in a very easy steps.
This is how i looked like without contouring. Flat face :(
  Lets go on for the cheeks first.
My all-time favorite brushes are from Elianto. These are my mini blusher brush that i used for contouring the cheeks and the blending brush that i used for sculpting the nose the blending eye shadows. They are soft, long durability, and very cheap!
You'll need blusher brush. I like my mini blusher brush from Elianto. It is fluffy yet not too big as i will have control over how much the bronzer or  the blusher will spread on my cheeks. The bronzer is used to contour the face to achieve a slimmer and smaller face. While the blusher is used to give a cheery radiant healthy looks. It is okay to used both but, I usually use my bronzer on regular basis while pink blusher is when i had too much pink for the day. I do combo bronzer and blusher when i have extra time to get ready or if i am attending special  event
The bronzer is not supposed to be on the cheek bones. Since bronzer is used  for shading, then you apply it at exactly under the cheekbones. Suck in your cheek to make the cheek bones stand out then, sweep off the brush at the area sucked in. Then, without reapplying the brush with more bronzer sweep the remaining powder in the same brush along your jaw line. This help to achieve a slimmer and sharper chin.
Look at the effect. Contouring gives the illusion of higher cheekbones and slimmer face!
As for the sculpting the nose..
You have to have the right tool. You need matte brown eyeshadow,or non-glittered bronzer. I used the same bronzer i used for the cheeks, or two shades darker foundations or powder,highlighter,or transparent powder or you may also opt for one shade lighter powder.
Then,starting by highlighting the bridge of the nose,use your middle finger or contouring brush to apply the bronzer from starting from eyebrow to the tip of the nose. Since i have rounded nose tip, i draw it to be tapered at above the nostrils to just below the tip of the nose. Then, dust off any sharp lines with the brush without re-apply the bronzer.
Tadaaa....How do i look? Can you see difference from the first photo? For your information, i did not edit any of the photo in this entry except for reducing its size.
Final results.
Product i used:
1. za BB cream Total Hydration
2. Oxy Face Powder in Natural Beige
3. In2It Eye Brow Powder
4. Body Shop Highlighter
5. Wet n Wild Color Icon  in Pearlescent  Pink blusher
6. Wet n Wild Color Icon  in Spoiled Brat eye shadow
7. za Plumper Lips in Rose Vintage
If you haven't try contouring and sculpting, try it now. You'll see difference too. When i was in my lazy days to apply make ups, the least i will do is contouring. To give some shine to the face instead of just plain flat pale face. (too much adjectives given! ahaaa)
Have a nice day, fellas!
0 Make over for ID and passport photo
Do you wear your face with special makeup if you are going to shoot for ID or passport photo? Or do you let your face be just a plain Jane for it? Because you're too scared that you looked fake in those photos? But, if you put too much, i am afraid that you are not going to pass any customs with a drag queen looks. In case you are too lazy to touch up when you going up on airplane.
 Well, do you laugh silently when looking at your driving license's , passport's or ID 's photos? I don't know about you but, i think my look on these documents often looked less good than the pictures i uploaded for Facebook or my any social networks. Maybe i can blame it on the angle and the plain-ess of my face.
We could not choose our best angle when shooting passport photo. If only! Ha ha ha...i really don't think that it is going to happen ever. If you cannot choose your best angle, well please do yourself a favour to at least touch up to highlight certain features on your face. Because! You gotta looked at least you did wash your face after waking up before getting shoot for this. Often, we looked too tired, too pale, or worst , you can't really recognize the person in that picture.
Here's what you can do. First, you gotta aim to look fresh and lively. You do not want to put too much on your face unless you want to look like a drag queen. Passport photo tends to capture every tiny dots details on your face moreover, you have to face STRAIGHT to the camera.
Wear foundations. Cover those flaws with concealer especially the undereye. Remember to blend them well because you don't want your skin to look cakey. Powder up to set up the canvas.
Then, shape your brow. I prefer using the cake brow liner rather than the pencil. It looks more natural and sometimes i can skip the need to brush my eyebrow after filling it.
Now the most important part is contouring. Contouring could makes your cheekbones looked higher, and gives you the healthy radiant look. I am using bronzer from Body Shop.
It comes in tiny balls...they are very fragile though but, they has a sponge to hold it from breaking inside the pot.
Use a bronzer rather than pink /peachy blusher on your cheek. Using a slant brush , smile and brush it on the apple of the cheek.  Brush the bronzer to your jaws too.This will give the illusion of a slimmer face.
Then, by using bronzer, or one shade darker concealer than your skin, or soft brown eyeshadow contour your nose. Different nose shape needs different contouring on the nose parts. By contouring the nose, it will give nice balance of your whole face, nose and your lips. Do not forget to highlight the bridge of your nose after shading the sides of the nose.
When applying your foundation earlier, let it also touches the lips a bit. Apply pink lipstick to the inner of the lips, then apply pink/mauve/peachy or nude lip gloss to the entire lips. Your lips will looked like you are just being kissed.Heee...or at least looked naturally healthy pinkish or looked pale like you have just have a bad encounter with a vampire who sucked up all your blood.
For your eyes,apply neutral colours.Use brown and highlight your browbones.Finally,never leave the house without mascara.Do not forget to apply for lower eyelashes to give the illusion of brighter and more opened eyes. Brush the upper lashes first and without dipping into The tube again,brush the lower lashes.This is to avoid the mascara from getting on your skin.
It is best not to wear any colored contact lenses and if you are wearing glasses on regular basis , yes you may wear it for shooting ID and passport photo.
Hair is the crown for everyone. I think it is practically safe that your hair get the evergreen make over. I mean styles that never aged. Avoid tying it up, or braided it. It is best that you let loose your hair and when it is time to shoot, put away your hair from the face by pinning it behind your ear. Remember to bring your mini hair comb with you so that you can tidy up any flyways.
Before you going to face the camera, blot away shines and powder up. Look to the camera and smile!
0 Choose Your Look for Valentine
So, it is Valentine again. This Thursday. You might see there are tons of tutorials on the web and YouTube for perfect Valentine's look. But this entry nothing about tutorials but this is just some suggestions on looks that you might be able to pull off for your special Valentine's night or day out according on the longevity of  the dating or kind of attraction that you want to exude during this lovely day or night out. I am going to the make up looks first.
Newly dating:
Pink Soft Look.
You need baby pink,highlighter,warm /sorbet pink,and brown/purple /grey at the outer corner of the eyes.
This is the most preferable look on Valentine's. I picked it also for anniversary dinner as it looks effortlessly romantic and natural at the same time.
Long term Relationship:
1.If you want to look romantic you can imply the same look like the above, but apply lots of mascara,or natural soft fake eyelashes. The pink soft look is seen as the most flexible one can pull off since it is easily can be wore during the day and extended to the night out. All you have to do, some touch ups and you are good to go for a romantic dinner with that special person.
2.If you want to look sexy and sultry go for darker browns for the outer corner and crease with soft to medium brown. This look also can be brought from day to night out. Least favorable compared to the pink soft look since it quite neutral and we are already wearing it on daily basis. You might want to try different looks for this special night out if you already wearing brown for you make ups.
Single ladies night out:
Smoky black.
Just avoid the racoon eyes. Or you'll send message to men why you'd better stay single. Black should be at the outer Corner of the eyes only, forming 'v'. The eyelid filled with white while crease you can use grey eyeshadow. Have fun with your girls!
What to Wear
Choose dress that compliment the look that you want to achieve.Remember showing off too much flesh is not a way to go everytime. If you wear shoulder off tops then you might want to wear longer bottoms and vice versa.
I am pink all over.  I had  it from Something Borrowed, Zalora.Shoes are from Dolce Shoes , Zalora. Handbag unbranded. Got it from 138 Shopping Mall in Manila.
Hair
Go get yourself a hair treatment before Valentine night out to achieve shiny and soft locks. Show it off by letting loose your locks tonigt .Men loves women with long hair.
That's all from me for today. l don't think l am going out on Valentine's night because my husband is away working at the Northest Borneo.But we did our anniversary and advance Valentine's dinner las t Saturday.That's when l had the photO ,me in pink taken. Guess l will be home blogging on that night or spend quality time with family at home. By the way,l wish that you look your best on that night and have fun on your Valentine's day or night out.
0 Pilates workout for the abs.
I weigh at 45 kg before i was pregnant with my little son. That was story of two years ago. Now i weigh at 48 kg. Errm i am not sure though about the exact number but, it supposed to be around these numbers.
After i gave birth, i did not really care about my diet or if i ever needed to exercise to burn the extra baby fat. I was at staggering 53 kg after i gave birth. It was too heavy for me as i am quite petite person, heightened 160 cm. After my son's gave up breastfeeding, i found that i still cannot control my eating appetite. So, my tummy is still bulging from bodycon outfits like modern baju kurung and i despise mini skirts.  I only wore fluffy dresses though. I did not bought any new jeans too. Because i was confident that my metabolism got it all under control.
Boy,boy...after 9 months, i weighed at 52 kg...! I was 7 kg away from my pre-pregnant weight. That's when i realize that i could not rely on my speedy metabolism anymore. It just does not worked like before. I do not know why, i simply looked at it as perhaps my pregnancy just messed up the whole metabolism system. Don't get me wrong because i never hate to be pregnant. In fact, the 9 months period can be said as the most wonderful days of my life apart from having Chris in my world now.
I came up with an intervention. I know that i would be too lazy for any outdoor exercises. But, there are plenty to do even indoors. Practising yoga or pilates are most popular. Yoga is too peaceful for me and not challenging enough for my cardio so , i choose to do pilates. Pilates got many moves that are especially targeting to tone specific body parts. So, i focused on the abdomen's workouts. Because the only thing that i hate on my body is the bulging tummy. I hate it because it is the ultimate wardrobe malfunction. Pilates not only enhance on toning the body but also it allows you to practise breathing. Like yoga too, breathing rhythm has effects on how you do each moves on the workout.
The abdomen workouts have many moves but, i only picked out the ones giving the ultimate punch and stresses to the tummy.
The first one is , The 100. What you do is to Lie flat on your back and bring your knees into your chest making sure that the lower back is pressing into the floor. Keep your palms facing down and lift your head and shoulders up off the mat. Take your arms straight down by your side, palms facing down. Straighten your legs to a 45-degree angle (above), rotating your legs open from the hip and squeezing your legs and heels together. If you have a bad back, bend your knees a little. Breathe in through your nose for a count of five then out through your nose for a count of five until you reach 100. As you're breathing, pump your arms up and down 100 times keeping them next to your body and parallel to the floor.
My favorite one is the Single Leg Stretches,probably because it is the easiest. what you do is to lie flat on your back bending your left knee into the chest and lifting your right leg up to a 45-degree angle. Lift your head and shoulders up off the mat. Take your left hand to your right ankle and your right hand on top of your left knee (above). Tug the bent knee twice when it comes in and then switch hands and legs. Count 1-2 then switch so it's fast and controlled with your tummy pulled into your lower back. You might want to do 10 reps as a start,butyou can always increase it to 20 reps when you get used to it.
The hardest i thought it would be the Criss Cross but, this definitely give that punch and it really gives you the line in the middle of your abs. Ain't it what we dream of ? You start as lying on the floor. Your hands go behind your head with one hand on top of the other, elbows open, shoulders down. Lift your head and shoulders up off the mat as your left knee comes into your chest and your right leg is extended out at a 45-degree angle. Twist in your waist taking your right elbow towards your left knee (above). Remember to twist from the waist rather than just moving your elbow towards your knee. As you twist to one side, hold the position for three counts then switch to the other side for three counts. Do 10 reps.
Then, the roll up. what you do here is just getting up to sit from lying down position. Breath in as you get up,then exhale when you go back lying.There are few workout moves to end the sessions as the counter flexion but, my favorites is The Swan where you will start from lying face downward. Then, inhale as you pull your torso up,feel your belly button getting off the floor until finally your backbone end feIt pressed down to the floor. Exhale as you go back to initial position. You may repeat it until 5.
It is not like we must go out doors to exercise. There are plenty of workouts that is best done indoors too.And, of course there are many ways to get a toned abs. Apart from doing pilates, i watched my diet too. I did not cut out meals. But, i control the amount of it. I try to have as healthy breakfast as possible , big lunch for the energy kicks and light meals for dinner. I do not want to risk gastrititis, because though it does get better with some medications and milk, the one thing that i cannot bear is stomachache.
I hope you find this entry useful as a guide towards better physical and health.. Let's have a fabulous body for the sake of the health!
