The Legendary Sex Symbol

Who doesn't know the above beauty? She is Marilyn Monroe. Most famous actress and model of  all time. Though that she is long gone, which 50 years ago she remains the talk of todays biz news. Recently,  her long lost nude photos of her from the last on set photos were released. She was one of the best sex symbol on earth!  and still rocking it. This news increases my motivations to blog about her. Why? Simply because imma big fan of her! Not that i wanna be like her, but simply her story touches me in a way i can't explain. Aisey.... Im being melodramatic. (lol, i did have a dream to be a movie star when i was a school girl. Uh, come on...i still dream to be one until i was married! i mean who doesn't?) Despite her troubled childhood and marriages I believe she is just a woman who wants to find a true love and be a star! She made it!

By the way, i plan to do more research on her and do a tribute for her in my blog on her death annivesary which is on August 5. I don't really know how im going to pull it off, but at least i will do this. Gonna start some rough outline for it. Stay tune!

Kisses,

Fan of Marilyn Monroe

0 Second Time is Sweeter

Last Sunday , my family and I went for an outting to the wildlife park of lok kawi. It was not my first visit actually to this park. My last visit is around November 2009 with my cousins and their kids. Well, i remember this very well because my husband which was at the time i called as my date cancelled our day out to movie. Grrr, not related at all ! But I certainly did not feel any happier following my cousins to the park at the time. Purrrrrrrrrrr...... Thank God that second time is perfect!

Well, this is the place to go if you just wanna chill with your family and loved ones, have picnic, it has picnic area in the park, or if you just wanna be away from the hectic lifestyle in the city and be close to nature. Anyway, the wildlife park is only 20 minutes away from the city of Kota Kinabalu. To get here, one can take either the Jalan Lama to Papar if one is coming from the Putatan direction and go the Lok Kawi. Or...via the Donggongan. The park opens daily at 10 a.m. and for Malaysian, the entrance fee is MYR 10, for none nationale, the fee is MYR 20. While for kids under 18 charged MYR 5 only while the latter, MYR 10. The park coveres 280 acres land and this covers the botanical park too. It is probably the largest wildlife park in Malaysia seeing at the area that the park covered, says my husband. Nonetheless,  I still did not visit this botanical park even for the second time around i've been here. Mommy, my sister and me were too tired to continue walking to the botanical park.Actually, they have a tram service which operated everyday at 10 and 11.15 in the morning then, in the afternoon, at 2 and 3.15 pm. that goes around the park and stop at certain point to let the visitor have a good look at the animals. But, we did not take the tram service because we were late, arriving only at 10.30 am.

Right after the entrance, they had this big kinda gazebo that places a big python where visitor will have the chance to take picture with it. This means that one could hold it on their arms and shoulder. Well, none of them were interested with snakes so we went straight to look at the parrots, there's a lot of it and they were making so much noise when they had a lot audiences coming at them. Then, we proceed to the animal show which held twice daily at 11 am and 3 pm. except on Friday. From my experience, the show had improved since my first visit. They had more shows than before, at least they always made improvements and changes so that people will keep coming.

The animal shows consists of few animals showing off their talents. I do have some videos of it but my internet line now is sooooooo slllooooow.......the pygmy elephant.....aww, i wasn't able to upload their photos because i can't copy the picture from the camera to pc. What a waste! I have few best shots of the pygmy!! Well, just gonna enjoy with what I have now, and can share here, then.

Right at our background down there, was the stage of
the animal show
The entrance
That's the tram service i was talking about! Cool, hay?
Errr, not the limousine ok

Happy times with my lil' son

He does looked like Rio in the movie. He was called Moglie here and he
also does few shows. This bird is indeed has celebrity
value in it

There is snake show too. They allowed the visitor to touch the skin of the python

This horse is so cute, it looks like a unicorn without its horn. It is also one of my favorite animal in the park.
It called  miniature horse.

5 Breastfeeding: the not really 101 why's

You might think that i talks about the downhills of breastfeeding, but i am simply putting the title that way because with these 6 reasons only, they are enough to rest the case. Why do the nurses encourage us to breastfeed? They might even snatch the bottles from your hand if they sees you with it in wards. Haha, well at least in government hospitals! Read on, hot mommas, here is the health benefits you and your precious one possesed from breastfeeding.
A nursing baby ( aww, isn't she looked beautiful? she is not my baby by the way, i just grab this photo randomly from Google Image )

 1. It burns about 20 calories to produce an ounce of milk! Can u imagine how much do you burn if your baby drinks 4 ounces each sessions with 10 sessions a day? That's one way you could fit into your jeans in less than 3 months! I did it, so can you! For the first six months post pregnant, i never ever been on exercise nor am i watching what i eat but i still have a slender 34-27-36 figure

 2. The longer a mother breastfeed, the more protected she is from such womanly illness like, ovarian and breast cancer. We can see a lot of posters on this at hospitals and gynae clinics around the country.

3. Lower the risks of less womanly illness like heart-disease, type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis. Crrrrackk!

 4. Makes a mother feels good. Why? When a mother beeastfeeding, lots of oxytocin hormones released or we might called it as a 'bonding' hormone that gives you the feeling of relaxations as well as euphoria. Euphoria..i like to say this words over and over again.

5. Saves you a lot of cash on formulas. Do you realised how expensive it is?

 6. Breast milk is riched with vitamins and antibodies that is essentials to the baby's health for the first 6 months of her life. It prevents baby from developing allergies and lowers the risk of infections. This is proven by American Academy of Pediatrics

There you go! Even if you are a working momma, you can still breastfeeding because there is a lot of products and services that helps a busy momma to continue nursing even after back to work. Me, myself had exactly 4 months of breastfeeding my little son because after i am back to work, my milk supply decreased gradually and that's when i stop beeastfeeding altogether and gives him formulas. It buys time too to really meet the formula that really suits him since i have tried at least two brands of formulas but he ends up getting diarrhea. Poor baby Chris. Finally he drinks up NAN 1 Pro though at first he was not a fan of it at all. Crying everytime he was weaned. But, he grows out of it in 2 days and now that he's 7 mo and couldn't live without it! Enjoy breastfeeding and be beautiful !

0 The Power of Best Friend

Meeting an oldest friend today after work. It was so thoroughly sweet, nostalgic and refreshing to be able to finally talk about the past and just about me and her about, the girls and the boys in our class during  high school. And also after that now i'm having crisis with my husband. I found out that he still following her ex girlfriend of 4 years updates through her blogs and facebook account and i doubt that he still in love with that girl. I am so thankful that my best friends visit me today and though I did not tell her about the crisis i'm having now in my marriage, I do feel relieved and refreshed after meeting her. She always able to make me feel better though I did not open up or impart any of my problem to her. It's all about reminiscing the good old times. I have to say that I am lucky in turbulence, I always have my friends on my sides. It's a different story when it comes to family , right?  I guess that's the power a best friend has on us. I always trust her with any secrets since high school and not that I do not trust her in my marriage matter , but for some reason,  I feel embarassed that my husband is in love with someone else. I also cannot stand the look that she will have on him if she heard of this. i am scared that people will judge him. I feel so helpless that I am hurt by him but still I don't want people to have bad impressions on him and give him some kind of look. I never feel so miserable, so helpless that I cannot do anything but to give it a flow on its own pace. Without realising it, suddenly my powerless, helplessness was all gone after talking to her, I feel more spirited and finally was able to write this post about my feelings as i face difficulties on how to write it all in here. Thanks to her for the strength and sense of reliefness I gained. Maybe finally I can really confront my husband about our crisis calmly.
This was taken during at June 2010.
"True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it be lost."

We had our dinner at one of famous restaurant in Pitas and then we parted after her friends was ready to pick her up before they heading back to Kota Kinabalu. The time seemed to be jealous at us, ticking quickly than ever when you are having a good times.By the way,  I wish she has a safe journey back to KK and hope to meet her again, soon.

2 Tindakon Dazang, Misompuru, Kudat- Let the good times rolled

Last week, i joined a camping of Police Cadet for Pitas and Kota Marudu district level held at Misompuru Homestay, Kudat. Well at least that's the place we were told we were going in. but actually, we were not exactly at Misompuru , we only passed it. The camping actually took place at Tindakon Dazang Beach Resort. To those who never heard of this place, it's near Sikuati Kudat. The sand are white, the sea is the most beautiful blue  i have ever see. I have to admit that North Sabah possessed many of most beautiful beaches in Sabah. This might be the second most beautiful beach in Kudat after Tips of Borneo. It takes about 1 hour to get here from Kota Marudu town. The road to this beach is not fully tarred. You have to drive a four-wheel cars or else , get ready for giant potholes along the way. Tarred road is only half way to reach the beach. The rest is grabled and as you are getting nearer, the road is getting narrower which you have to drive through the 'baby' oil palm trees. these roads are no more grabled but dirt road. after the grueling journeys (if you are driving sedan), your broken hearted for your car will be mend with the breathtaking views.  Is it free to get to this beach? Other than transportations, yes, you will be charged MYR 2 for adults and MYR 1 for kids under 12 year old. With that entrance fees, you can go fishing at the rocks which beautifully carved by the sea waves for years or decades and have picnics with whoever you are bringing with you here. I can guarantee you that you will enjoy it! If you are not bothered to bring foods from outside, don't fret. There is  a bamboo built restaurant here where you can enjoy seafood here while enjoying the beach views and yeah , there is a swamp river too at the back of the restaurant.
It seems i havethis photo from my tab. this the view of retaurant from the longhouse. Not bad, hay?

View from the front of the restaurant

View from the hill to the beach at the back of the longhouse

This photo might not be relevant at all. It is one of my favorite sandcastle that a group built . There was a competition, and i think that this castle won

Besides fishing, you can also go kayaking here through the swamp river or you may choose to the sea. I am not sure of the fees but i think it's quite reasonable because a number of students did go kayaking during their free time on the camping. Too bad, whenever there is free time, i went back to the longhouse to nap. I went there for camping, but i end up staying in the longhouse because of few reasons. Uhh, talk about the longhouse? you must be wondering.Yeah, i mentioned 'homestay' , there is a homestay, a longhouse. For  your information, the longhouse is not the Misompuru Homestay but Tindakon Dazang Beach Longhouse Resort.  Built from jungle woods, bamboo, nipah, and wood pulp. i am sorry, i did not have photos of this longhouse as well as the restaurant. my camera was flat on the second day, plus i have no intention of blogging about this place at first but when i came back , i change my mind. Back to the longhouse, it is very refreshing that this house has natural air-conditioner since its wall are made from cuts of  bamboo which is arranged separately from each other. this makes the air go in and out through the wall. you won't even gonna find the window. I remember sergent Harris told us that a newly married couple cannot stay in this homestay. People will peek you when you make love! I am not sure of how far is the truth about this, but we all laugh about the jokes. But yeah, don't mind about it, we are here for the holiday so enjoy while it lasts.
She was one of the camp commandant. At a beautiful rock shaped by the wind and waves to a  horned  whale's head

Let the good times rolled. Uh, me is the one who jumped the highest :)

Those who wish to stay, there is electricity supplied and tap water. but be ready to gargle salt water from the tap. it seemed impossible to get fresh water  here because well, you'll find out. and also, do not expect to find toilet in the longhouse. the concrete made toilet is located fonly few metres away from the house,so do not worry. y ou will also have your shower here if you do not wish to sleep off the sea water you have swimming into. All in all, everything is clean because there is staff who will clean the toilet time to time.

Make some time to visit this place if you are heading north Sabah. It'll worth it. Enjoy!

0 How to Load M16 For Dummies

It was my first camping with  tentatives filled with how to load and unload an M16. Those who confused with what I'm talking about, well I am talking about the rifle that shoot dead people in war. Oops. Yes, imma a teacher. Correct. A teacher who takes Police Cadet as my uniform squads in co-curriculum activities in school. During recent camping in Misompuru, Kudat, we ended the camping by going to the shoot range in Kem Paradise, Kota Belud for shoot training. The students were taught how to load and unload the M16 and how to shoot during the camping while we were still in Kudat. They were only get to load the bullets and really shoots at the shoot range. While the teachers also taught by experienced teachers on this as not only the students who would get the chance to shoot, the teachers too~! yeay, I don't know how to react to this idea actually until i reached at the shoot range on the last day of  the camping (on the last day, we were moved to the range by police trucks). The pictures below taken in Kudat during the camping.

This girl is putting the rifle to SAFE mode.

That's the house where the female escort teachers lived during the camping
Fire in the hole! These students are all ready to fire. No, it's unloaded. The magazine is empty, will explain later what 's magazine is. Of course I don't mean the CLEO magazine, or OK magazine. Stay tune.

If there was a thing that I regretted in this camping was not bringing with my camera charger. I didn't expect that we would be having sockets to plug handphone or camera charger during camping. Umph, well, therefore I did not take pictures during the training at the range since my tablet, camera and handphone were all flat on the last day. I would be proud to post my pictures shooting at the air. At least I am holding the rifle and shooting! Not just reading. Forgive me, readers. As this was my first shoot training, I am proud that I could shoot one shot to the bull. Even I was shaking in hungry, cold of the rain and nervous at the  new experience, deaf at the sound of firing bullets. There's always first time for everything.

Okay, okay...I'm not gonna held you any longer to read my ramblings. Gonna share with you on how to load the M16. The very basics to handle a  firearm. Read on.

1. First thing first, if you handling a weapon, whether it's loaded or not, point it in a safe direction.
2. Cock the weapon. Pull the charging handle all the way back and hold it. with the charging handle back, turn the weapon on its side and look into the firing chamber to make sure that there us no bullets caught in the chamber. If they are, they can cause an explosion when the fresh bullets put in.
3. Ride the bolt forward. Slowly, keeping pressure on the charging spring, return the bolt to the forward position. Letting the bolt slam forward. This produce the cool sound which we often hear from movies
4. Move the selector lever to "SAFE".
5. Insert a loaded magazine into the magazine well. It is below the trigger.Push the magazine up from the bottom until the catch engages. Give the bottom of the magazine a slap to ensure that it stays. You may pull down on the magazine once it is on place to check if it will slip out.
6. Now, move the selector to "SEMI" to fire one at a time or "AUTO" if you wish to fire all bullets all at once.
7. Aim at whatever you are firing on. If you are right-handed, you might close the left eye and right eye opened. So does if it is other way around.

0 Why In The World Is He So Pissed

Well i was on this camping for police cadet , Pitas and Kota Marudu districts level which was happening last week on 13 til 16th April at Misompuru, Kudat. Owow, stop! You might think that the title wasn't related at all. Stay tune, read on! There was this activity called jungle trekking on the third day which required the students together with their escort teacher to cross over the swamp river on foot. Yeah, of course me and the gang along the camping, Lily, Nana and Ani doesn't wanna do it! We agree that we will go along the trail which i was pretty sure wasn't a real jungle and it was actually swamp jungle with full of 'lalang' but was united to not cross over any watery land.

There! The female teacher gang. From left, Lily, me, Ani and  Nana. The girl with yellow towel is a facilitator  in the programme.

This is the swamp river that we had to cross over. Yikes!! who knows that a crocodile may resides in here?!

The students were half-squating when crossing the swamp. Well, they  did not do this on purpose. They were told to do so by the police officer who waited at the other end which we cannot see from this picture. Too bad.

All the facilitators who watched over the students and teachers to pass the trails  had to cross over the swamp too after everyone had crossed. Hell yeah, when they saw us going back to the trails instead of going forward through the swamp,  we  went back to the prior trails to go back to the campsite the boys especially yelled a 'boo' like sound at us. Guess what happen after we reach the campsite?

A little commercials before I continued.... this was taken on our way back to the campsite from a small hill near the beach.

The chief officer , i am not gonna mention the name, yelled at us to go back to the trails and cross over the swamp river! Ow, in front of the students. Hell yeah. From afar. As a teacher, are you feeling me? We were like, WHAT?!! What are we? Students? A dreamer who dreams to be a police someday? Hell, NO! We are the escort teachers. The female escort teachers. There were male escort teacher who cross God-knows-what-mud river with the students!  I swore I don't mind going into the mud hundreds time if i was not menstruating .Damn!

Why does this one  officer was so pissed  that the women didn't cross the swamp? Four of us were froze by his actions, and we refused to come any nearer from the sites where all of the students grouped together after they reached the campsite. In my mind at the time, I was thinking I am not going over there to be screamed at the eyes of the students. So,   we sat at the foothill watching from afar what's gonna happen next. Worse is he let go of his resentment  to the students by ordering the groups who were escorted by us to do push ups and half squat on the warm sand under hot firing sun. What about this swamp  makes it so significant to him? Well, watching the students taking all the punishment for us is so heart-breaking. So, Lily , Nana and me went back to the trails to finish what we should had finished from the first place. Crossing the swamp aka mud river and go forward until reaching the campsite. Well, i only mentioned 3 of us rite? Oh, well we asked  Ani to go to the officer alone to tell him to let go of the students while we went back. She was all in tears, barefooted trying to follow us at first. But seeing her like that, she would only slow us down. So we asked her to go back to watch over the students. Uh, just to find out at the end that not only she did not finished the trails with us, but she also did not talk to the officer. Instead, she went to the longhouse (where the female escort teachers lived during the camping) and slept off the whole thing!

When we reached the campsite, we saw the students were having a great time swimming and playing in the sea. So, we guess that the students are free from the punishment rite? We went to see the officer at restaurant near our campsite only to find out that he was in tears too. Alone. Why does this man of police broke down to tears ?! We went  back to finish the trails and WE DID CROSS OVER THE SWAMP RIVER BAREFOOTED. So, why is he still pissed and in tears? We were the one who should be in tears because we were forced and threatened with our students taking the punishments.

To my surprise after finishing it, I felt incredibly relieved that i finished it for my students. I felt for them , being sun bathed, mud-bathed, scream-bathed. I don't care if they were put in such a hard time but not because of me. I would not let that happen. But, only God knows how easy it should had been if i just follow orders without complain or perform the most stupid acts like going back to the camp site for refusing the sacred order to cross the swamp.

I had quickly forget the incidence soon after the officer apologise to us ( after coming face to face with him) admit that he was not alerted with the female disorder. Not really forget, but I had put this incident in a sweet memory box in my little brain.   I realized that the trails and crossing the swamp had been the easiest way to go into compared to all my camping experiences since i was 11 years old. I had to admit that I was being a fool at some point, and the officers had been a complete idiotic along the way especially when he pissed  off about the mud-river crossings and broke into tears. Maybe he was embarassed when Ani yelled back at him. At least that's what one of the male teacher said to us. Well in that case, he was just play hard in front of the students when he is actually a very sensitive man. He should think first before he yelled at whom. We are well-educated human being whom will not screamed at each other about their mistakes in front of the youngsters.  By the way, thanks to the officer it has been a wonderful walk of mud.

0 From SPM on

I was a student of SPM too once. before i graduated secondary school, i make sure here where  should i go after the big important exams. i called SPM as exams of my life that will determine of what i will be as an adults , which i choose a matriculation college that gives me a foot away to university. i have no plan B so i will never consider taking STPM. it's okay actually to sign in for form  six but i just wanna graduate earlier and be someone  who can help my family with whatever i earn after i get a job which i hadnt think about yet before i went for matriculation college.

Enough about myself, a student should be able to draw out where he will go from SPM on. either on matriculations, A level, form six , polytechnic colleges and other community college. depends on what you wanna be after campus life over. an excellent achiever now automatically will be sponsored by the government to pursue their educations to higher level. aren't they just lucky? there's no more terms like 'aww, she has a very excellent results in SPM but her parents just cant afford her pursuing her educations. therefore, the youngsters now should be grateful, and more appreciative with government insentives to sponsor these excellences so that they will get the best educations and finally can contribute to their family, community, and country. we need more quality graduates and these students who graduated from overseas best universities should return to our very homeland to contribute to the locals.

keep in mind that without a education, you go nowhere. I am saying this because i
see those of schoolmates who keeps on skipping classes, stubborn to the school rules,
answer back to teachers, always end up with worse lives. They are most likely involved
in criminals, unwanted pregnancies, family break downs, poverty, over debtness, the list
going on and on. Parents and students should take advantages of what the government
has to offer, facilities and financial aids by achieved better in examinations. Not that i
insists of the paper-based assessment but for the decade we are living on now, a paper
worth a lots and able to take us even in the deepest seas.

For that, a student should step out outside their comfort zones to work harder, study
harder and never give up. Tons of homework are meant to be completed and should be
assumed as a reinforcement after a lesson in classroom. Not as a burden.

I would like to write longer about tips on overcoming dark moods to complete
homework given by teachers, or heavy eyes when doing revisions but that has to be
written other times. Because my eyes are feeling heavier by each letter i type on. Good
nights, and happy drawing  where's you destination will be SPM on? Will you be
the lucky engineering students to pursue your educations to Korea, German, France? wow, i'll be excited and will open my text book right away as to fight for my rights to get this amazing opportunity!! the sponsors might be for SPM leavers 2011, but who knows, the offers will get better by year.

1, 609 SPM leavers offered with Bursary automatically
